Recall Alert: Back To Nature Classic Crème Cookies Recalled
CARLISLE, Pa. (CBS) – Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets announced they are removing Back to Nature Classic Crème Cookies from sale because the product may contain milk, an allergen that is not listed on the ingredient label.
This follows a recall by Back to Nature Foods.
Officials say the product is safe to consume for those who do not suffer from a milk allergy.
The product being recalled is: Back to Nature Classic Crème Cookie 12 oz., UPC 81989801103 with best by dates of 10 SEP 16 and 16 SEP 16 labeled on top of the package
There have been no reports of illness.
Customers who have purchased this product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Giant/Martin's for a full refund.
