5-Month-Old Shocks Viewers By Mimicking Her Mommy's Singing Voice

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – At 5-months-old many of us were burping and sleeping and most likely not doing too much talking.

But it looks like a new precedent has been set. Check this out.

A video of a 5-month-old baby mimicking her mother's singing voice has gone viral.

In the video, as the baby lays on the mother's chest, the mom sings the words "I love you". Seconds later the baby chimes in with her own vocal rendition of the phrase. Stretching the "you" out for several seconds, the 5-month-old steals the spotlight and shocks viewers everywhere.

As onlookers are doing a double take, the mom sings one more time, just for the baby to jump in with an "I love you" medley of her own.

CBS3 meteorologist Katie Fehlinger has recently had some little ones of her own. After watching the video she said, "the best I could get is some grunts right now."

"Start working on that Katie," Jim replied.

"Nothing like that, that's for sure," Katie said referencing the video.
