PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It’s the age-old debate: Can an outstanding college team beat a horrendous pro team?

And so, Jordan Spieth’s tweet following Villanova’s stomping of Oklahoma in the Final Four, got our friends at thinking. Could Nova beat the 76ers?

In the tournament, the National Champion Wildcats averaged 83.5 points per game, shooting 58.2-percent from the field and 50.0-percent from behind the arc. They also forced nearly 14 turnovers per game. The 76ers are 10-68.

And still…the Sixers would be 82.4 percent likely to win and by an average score of 89.4–70.7.

We all know that college teams have virtually no chance at beating pro teams, I hope, but it’s fun to mess around with.
