Sometimes you don't want a sandwich or bowl of hot soup, so cupcakes can really hit a sweet spot in the land of food trucks. The "Cupcake Lady," a former lawyer from Scranton, fills the void. The cupcakes are baked each morning in Bridesburg and loaded onto the truck, which roves around town.

We sampled a cookies-and-cream ($3.50), which was chocolate cake, a ribbon of Oreo buttercream, ganache filling and drizzle. Also, a banana cupcake with Nutella frosting ($2.50).

It's solid stuff, moist and fresh. The frosting was a bit too sugary for our liking, but a college kid with a sweet tooth would love it.
