Lincoln Financial Field Hosts Veterans Career Fair

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- More than 50 companies set up shop at Lincoln Financial Field Thursday afternoon for a career fair. The mission: recruit veterans to work for them.
Rows and rows of tables, and an energetic buzz took over the club lounge upstairs at Lincoln Financial Field as job seekers chatted with recruiters.
"Leadership, organization, willing to get the job done, motivation," said Pepsi Co. HR manager Kerry Martin, who says veterans possess many desirable professional traits.
"They're here to hire. It's not like they give you the run around 'we'll call you in two weeks' no this is here and now. I think that's boosting the morale, the excitement," said Matthew Tobias from Blue Bell, who spent eight years in the Marine Corps infantry.
Tobias is looking for a hands-on type of job in construction, or something similar, to keep his days busy and active.
