PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are on the hunt for a suspect caught on video shooting a rifle in East Germantown.

Authorities say around 12:56 a.m. on March 24, a 47-year-old man was standing on the 5600 block of Chew Avenue when he was approached by an unknown male with a rifle.

The suspect fired several shots at the victim, police say, striking him twice in his torso, once in his buttocks and once in his left arm.

The suspect then entered the passenger side of a dark colored newer model sedan that appeared to have an out of state or vanity plate on the front bumper.

The vehicle was last seen headed south on Chew Avenue.
