'Big Brother' Auditions Stop In Philly; Hundreds Turnout

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- People stood in line for hours outside the 1925 Cocktail Lounge in Center City Saturday for a chance to make it onto a popular CBS reality show.

Big Brother is searching for contestants for their show's 18th season, and if you aren't sure what that is, well, former contestant Meg Maley from Collingswood, New Jersey explains.

"You are in a house, and you compete against one another to evict each other and be the last one standing," the former contestant said.

Hundreds waited outside for the chance to introduce themselves to a casting producer and become an 'Ultimate Houseguest.' Ambler native Josh says he is just what they're looking for.

"I am very observant, and I can kind of read people really well, and I think that is going to give me a big advance," Josh said.

While Gabby from Philly says she would be the best choice.

"I am ultra competitive, and I would like to think that I am trust worthy, but do not like to be crossed," she said.
