PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two officers were injured in a hit-and-run accident in Philadelphia’s Juniata neighborhood, CBS 3 is told.

Authorities say it happened early Thursday morning near East Erie Avenue and G Street.

Police tell CBS 3 a vehicle struck an unmarked police car from behind while they were moving.  The police car then hit a parked car and crashed into a wall.

Two officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, CBS 3 is told.

Police say they are looking for a dark colored car, now with front end damage, that was last seen going west on Erie.

Police are hoping surveillance cameras can help provide a better description of the vehicle.
