CBS 3 Adds Two Reporters With Local Roots To Eyewitness News Team

Philadelphia, Pa. – Joe Holden and Trang Do, two reporters with roots in the Philadelphia market, will be coming home to join the Eyewitness News team, Vice President and News Director Margaret Cronan has announced.

Trang Do, most recently an investigative reporter with WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Maryland, joins CBS 3 on March 16th.  The 2006 University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude graduate worked as an intern at CBS 3 during her senior year in college.  After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and Spanish at Penn, she went on to complete a Master's degree in journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University.  She started her professional career as a Washington, D. C, correspondent for KTVQ-TV in Billings, Montana.   She has also reported and anchored in Huntsville, Alabama at WAFF-TV and in York, Pennsylvania at WPMT-TV.  She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Joe Holden will join CBS 3 on May 4th from WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he covered, among other high-profile stories, Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia. Previously, he was an investigative reporter for WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market, at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia and an assignment editor at WPHL-TV in Philadelphia.  Holden has a track record of holding public officials accountable and breaking numerous stories involving political corruption.  He is a 2002 graduate of Cabrini College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and communication.
