Official: Eagles Sign QB Chase Daniel

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Doug Pederson is reuniting with his old friend.

The Eagles announced on Thursday they have signed QB Chase Daniel.

The deal was first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Daniel's deal is reportedly worth $21 million, $12 million guaranteed over three years.

94WIP's Howard Eskin reported this deal was imminent on Wednesday morning. The Eagles are now expected to cut last year's backup Mark Sanchez, saving themselves $3.5 million on their cap.

Chase Daniel, 29, has completed 50 of 77 passes for 464 yards passing in his NFL career.
