Josh Innes Edges Out Dave Spadaro, Wins 2016 Great Birds Debate

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Score one for the big dogs.

For the second time in three years, Josh Innes has won SportsRadio 94WIP's Great Birds Debate.

Innes edged out Eagles insider Dave Spadaro in the voting 33.7-percent to 30.8-percent despite some heavy campaigning from the team's Twitter account even WR Jordan Matthews and d-lineman Fletcher Cox.

The 94WIP Afternoon Show host (weekedays 2-6 p.m.), defeated Spadaro, Ike Reese, Rhea Hughes, Michael Barkann, Don Bell, Brian Haddad, Howard Eskin, and Glen Macnow in the ninth annual Great Birds Debate.

Innes constantly made fun of Reese's 2015 love for former Eagles QB Nick Foles. In Innes' closing he sad, "I wanna go back to a quote that Ike had in last year's debate: 'Nicky Six is our guy, get behind the guy."
