106-Year-Old Woman Dances With Joy At Meeting President Obama
WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS) – A 106-year-old woman who met President Obama cannot stop dancing for joy.
Virginia McLaurin was born in South Carolina in 1909.
With some help from family, she started a YouTube campaign to meet the president, and when it finally happened, she was so excited she could not stop dancing.
When asked about the secret to dancing at 106, she replied, "Just keep moving!"
McLaurin's visit comes in the midst of Black History Month.
The White House posted the joyous video to its Facebook and Twitter pages.
So far, it has more than 800,000 views.
