Person Falls Through Staircase; Trapped For Nearly An Hour
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A person was trapped for nearly an hour after falling through a staircase Saturday night.
Police say this happened on the 200 block of Church Street in Center City.
The person was transported to Jefferson Hospital with a broken leg around 7:30 p.m.
Fire Marshall and code units remained on scene investigating. Crews say five residents have been displaced as a result of the broken staircase. According to police the residents will be allowed back in their condos when the steps are safely repaired.
