Attorney: 'LeSean McCoy Did Nothing Wrong And Was Sober'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- 10 days have past since LeSean McCoy was reportedly involved in an alleged assault against off-duty Philadelphia police officers.

Still, no charges. Now, with potential holes in the case, some believe McCoy should not be charged.

McCoy's attorney says the ex-Eagles running back did nothing wrong.

"We're awaiting a decision by the DA's office," criminal defense attorney Dennis Cogan told the Buffalo News on Wednesday. "We trust that they are really taking time to consider all the surrounding circumstances. But I'm here to say and I'm telling you that McCoy did nothing wrong, nothing wrong. And he was sober. The questions will have to be asked about the conditions of other people."
