PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — In the early morning hours on Sunday, February 14, a woman was struck with a beer bottle at a Northeast Philadelphia bar and she is now fighting for her life.
According to police, the incident took place around 1:45 a.m. at a bar located on the 7300 block of Frankford Avenue. Authorities say the victim was dancing with another patron in the bar when another woman that she knew approached her. Police say the woman struck the victim in the head with a beer bottle and continued swinging the bottle, causing the facial and neck laceration.
