PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Allen Iverson has been named a 2016 finalist for the NBA’s Hall Of Fame.

Iverson, 40, headlines the finalist list along with Shaquille O’Neal.

Iverson ranks 23rd in NBA history with 24,368 points, made 11 all-star appearances (two-time MVP), was 2001 NBA MVP, and reached the NBA Finals during the 2000-01 season.

Tom Izzo, Kevin Johnson, Chester native Bo Ryan, Sheryl Swoopes, and Yao Ming are among the 2016 NBA Hall Of Fame finalists as well.

A committee of 24 Hall of Famers and media members will vote on the finalists, while 18-plus votes will get you in. Inductees will be announced on April 4th, 2016 at the NCAA’s Final Four.
