House Fire Reaches 4 Alarms In Wyncote
WYNCOTE, Pa., (CBS) -- It took about three hours for firefighters to bring a four alarm fire under control in Montgomery County Thursday afternoon.
Emergency dispatchers say the blaze broke out shortly after 11 a.m. The home is located near the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Spruce Lane in Wyncote, and suffered significant damage.
Dispatchers say more than 20 volunteer fire companies responded to the fire. Officials say the home was vacant when the fire started.
Officials are investigating the cause.
