Montgomery County Man Arrested, Charged With Possession Of Child Porn
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged with more than 100 counts of Internet child pornography and other related offenses.
Montgomery County authorities say 38-year-old Robert Guiffrida had a collection of images and videos stored on his computer and iPhone.
Guiffrida was tracked down by an Abington Township Detective who specializes in child porn investigations. The detective directly linked Guiffrida's IP address to at least six explicit videos. A subsequent search of his computer uncovered even more.
He is accused of downloading the material between May and December of 2015.
Guiffrida is charged with six counts of sexual abuse of children and 100 counts of possession of child porn. He's being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $100,000 cash bail.
