Pedestrian Struck And Killed On I-95 In Bucks County

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed overnight while walking along I-95 in Bucks County.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday in the southbound lanes near exit 37 at Cornwell Heights.

All southbound lanes were closed between Street Road and Woodhaven Road for about five hours as a result of the accident.

It wasn't immediately clear why the pedestrian was walking on the highway.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
