NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) — Police are investigating the death of a man they say was found inside of a residence in the community of Mallard Pointe in New Castle, Delaware.

Police say detectives have identified the victim as 47-year-old Shawn Spence, of New Castle.

The manner of death has been ruled a homicide by the Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security, Division of Forensic Science, according to police.

Police say they are looking for a person of interest, 52-year-old Gregory Parker.  Police say he is described as a bald African American male, with brown eyes, 6’08” tall and approximately 225 pounds.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
