BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (CBS) – Students from Roslyn Elementary School were the winners of Acme’s ‘Your School Rocks’ Jingle Competition.

Ten-year-old Declan was among the six students who came in to record the winner — earning $2,500 for their school.

“It’s just plain awesome,” he says. “Pretty much everything. Lights, all the people, the big check.”

Danielle D’Elia, communication manager with Acme, explains why their jingle was chosen:

“It got stuck in our heads, it hit on a lot of the different areas, so it was focusing on a fresh and talking about it being in the community, and we like the musical instruments in it too.”
