Zach Ertz: 'A Lot Of Guys' Want Sam Bradford Back
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Zach Ertz addressed the media on Monday to discuss his brand new contract extension, but had an interesting thing to say about teammate Sam Bradford.
According to Ertz, not only does Bradford want to stay in Philly, but "a lot" of Eagles' players want their quarterback to stay too.
"Yeah I would love that," Ertz said during a press conference on Monday. "I know a lot of guys would love to have Sam back. Jordan [Matthews] and myself in particular, kinda were rewarded with Sam playing quarterback. But at the same time, we're very confident in [head coach] Doug [Pederson] and Howie [Roseman] and Mr. [Jeffrey] Lurie to decide who is going to be the best person to play quarterback."
In 13 full games with the Eagles last season, Bradford completed 346-532 passes (65-percent), for 3,725 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions.
Bradford, 28, is set to become a free-agent this offseason.
