Will Beyonce Drop An Album After The Super Bowl Halftime Show?

By Michael Cerio

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - There's a lot of great music in the forecast for February.

Today we've gotten an official tracklist for Kanye West's "best album of all time" and have been teased about new music by Rihanna - who's done more coin-tossing than beat-slaying these days.

But wait, there's more.

According to The Sun, Beyonce could drop a surprise album and possibly announce a tour after her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The reason, because she's Beyonce so "bow down" – but also, insiders tell The Sun that she figured she would let Adele have her moment.

"Beyonce doesn't have the pressure of releasing an album and is doing bits here and there because she and her team know it is Adele's time to shine. The last few months have been all about her comeback" reads The Sun.

While this is currently speculation, it certainly sounds like something Beyonce would do. Remember when Bey "changed the game with that digital drop" in 2013? The rollout of the last time she surprised fans nearly sold a million copies in three days worldwide. The only way to outdo that would be to announce it from the biggest stage in the world.

As long as we're talking rumors, there have been stories circulating over the past month that her latest album will be a joint project with husband Jay Z. And there's also that one about Beyonce being pregnant.

So who knows. Maybe Beyonce gives birth at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, her child goes in for an ailing Peyton Manning in the second half, the child is named MVP and then goes on tour with Fetty Wap and Sia after a trip to Disneyland. We'll have to wait and see.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show actually takes place during a bigger event called, the Super Bowl. That takes place on February 7th on CBS.
