Winter Storm Postpones Several Local College Basketball Games
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The big storm upcoming this weekend is impacting the Big 5. Temple, Villanova, La Salle and St. Joe's have all announced postponements for games scheduled to take place this Saturday.
- No. 4 Villanova vs. No. 16 Providence: Rescheduled for Sunday, January 24 at 1 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. Originally scheduled for Saturday at noon.
- Temple vs. No. 8 SMU: Rescheduled for Sunday, January 24 (time TBD). Originally scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m.
- La Salle vs. St. Joe's: Rescheduled for Sunday, January 24 at 5 p.m. Originally scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m.
Penn is not in action this weekend.
Drexel is currently scheduled to play UNC Wilmington in Philadelphia on Saturday at 6 p.m. No postponement has been announced at this time.
