Pete Rose To Be Inducted Into Reds Hall Of Fame

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Cincinnati Reds will induct Pete Rose into their Hall Of Fame this summer, the team announced on Tuesday.

Rose, 74, spent his first 16 seasons with the Reds before joining the Phillies from 1979-1983. Rose later returned to the Reds from 1984-1989.

Rose, the MLB's hits king with 4,256 hits, was banned for betting on baseball while he was playing and managing for the Reds. Last month, Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr. announced Rose will remained banned from Major League Baseball.
