Report: Brad Childress To Replace Doug Pederson As Chiefs Offensive Coordinator

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- According to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Brad Childress will assume the role of offensive coordinator for Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs. Childress served as a Spread Game Analyst and Special Projects member of the Chiefs staff.

Doug Pederson had been serving in that role, but was officially named the head coach of the Eagles on Monday. Pederson will be introduced by the team on Tuesday.

There was early speculation that Childress might be coming back to Philadelphia to be the offensive coordinator for Pederson.
