WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) — Emergency crews rushed to the scene after a vehicle crashed into a home in Wilmington, Delaware Friday morning.

Chopper 3 was over the scene of 31 Colefax Court in New Castle County.

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle was extricated from the car and taken to Christiana Hospital with minor injures.

Police say a 73-year-old female resident was trapped underneath the car for 20 minutes before rescue crews could free her.

She was rushed to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police cited the driver for reckless driving.
