Man Arrested For Smashing Car Windows In Northeast Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A man is in police custody, accused of breaking at least six car windows in the Holmesburg neighborhood overnight.
Police say the man went on a smashing spree near Loring and Ditman Streets. Several people called 9-1-1 to report the disturbance.
Once officers arrived on the scene, they found at least a half dozen cars with broken windows. Two of them had broken windshields.
Authorities say the man hasn't given them a reason yet for why he did it. His name has not been released.
Police are walking the block, looking to see if there are any more broken windows.
