CAMDEN, N.J., (CBS) — A young teenage boy is the first victim of homicide in Camden County this year.

It happened shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Line Street. Police received a number of 911 calls and rushed to the scene.

The Camden County Prosecutor says the 13-year-old was found lying on the sidewalk. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight, according to authorities.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Authorities say no arrests have been made at this time.
