PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It was possible that when Chip Kelly ran off the field after Saturday’s loss to the Redskins, it would be the final time he did so as head coach of the team.

Sure, there was a chance that he could have been fired during the off-season, but no one would have guessed that we’d know that was the final time so soon.

CBS 3 Eyewitness News Sports Director Don Bell was on the sidelines at Lincoln Financial Field for Kelly’s final jog off the field as head coach.

Kelly reportedly expressed an interest to remain in the NFL as a head coach, so it may not be his final time running off at the Linc. It’s just his final time wearing midnight green.
