Area Shoppers Trying To Beat The Buzzer
PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (CBS) -- Christmas Eve is crunch time for last minute holiday shoppers.
Some of the Christmas decorations were coming down at Macy's, a sign of a season almost done.
Almost, but not just yet for some shoppers.
For Linda, no major purchases, but just the finishing touches.
"I really don't have a game plan. I'm just here to get some last minute stocking stuffer items."
Maria from Fort Washington says she had come up with a Plan B.
"I'm on my way to work. Unfortunately a present I ordered for a co-worker had not arrived, so I had to stop in this morning to get that last minute gift. I waited too long to order it."
But Maria came out of the mall with more than just that one present. A little bit of bonus shopping on this Christmas Eve.
"When you're waking through and you see 50, 60 or 70 percent off - take advantage of it. So, someone's going to get an extra present or two this year."
