PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Philadelphia Eagles, with two games remaining, are fighting to make the playoffs. Ironically, their first elimination game comes this week against the Washington Redskins.

And while most players in NFL locker rooms usually exude confidence, Eagles Pro Bowl defensive lineman Fletcher Cox took it a step further on Wednesday.

“Yeah, I’m guaranteeing a win,” Cox said via “What am I supposed to say? That I think we’re going to lose or something? No.”

Former Eagles wide receiver, DeSean Jackson returns to face his former team in Philly for the second time in two years. While he refused to talk about past events and relationships, he did wish the Eagles’ secondary good luck defending him during a conference call with reporters on Wednesday.
