Cataldi, Kelly Vow To Give $1,000 To Charity With Pie Delivery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles are now 7-1, and 2-0 this season, when Angelo Cataldi delivers them pies.

Two weeks ago, at the request of head coach Chip Kelly during their Monday morning conversation on SportsRadio 94WIP, Cataldi resumed his 2013 tradition of delivering pies to the Eagles.

The Eagles beat the Patriots the following weekend and the 25-year host at 94WIP was forced to deliver the pies again before the Bills game this week. And once again, the pies worked, as the Eagles beat the Bills 23-20.

Now, Cataldi and Kelly have added another wrinkle to the pie delivery system thanks to the Holiday season.

"I think we need to continue the tradition, but what I'd like to do -- I don't think we need pies here," Kelly told Cataldi on Monday. "I think we'd like to donate the pies to the less fortunate during the holidays.

"If you pay for the pies," Kelly continued, "I will donate $1,000 to that charity for the amount of pies you buy."

"I'll be happy to do that do, but I'm still bringing the three every week," Cataldi said. "And I'll match your $1,000 and we'll find a great charity."

Look at that! Kelly, Cataldi, pies, football, and charity! What a beautiful time of the year.
