McCoy Livid Over The Loss To The Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — LeSean McCoy has run for a lot of yards on Lincoln Financial Field. But the Pro Bowl tailback may not have moved faster on that field than he did after leaving on Sunday, when his Buffalo Bills were vanquished by the Eagles, 23-20.

McCoy had captured the soap opera aspect in the build-up for the game against his former team, but had nothing to say afterward, saying, "I have nothing to say," to the awaiting media.

What McCoy did reveal was anger. After the final gun sounded, McCoy ran off the field without shaking hands with any of his former Eagle teammates, immediately made a right after the tunnel leading to the field, and flung his helmet to the other end of the Buffalo locker room, shouting an expletive.

McCoy rushed for a game-high 74 yards on 20 carries, but was largely a non-factor.

"That's my brother, family first outside of football," Eagles' left tackle Jason Peters said in reference to McCoy. "Get a win. It wasn't us against McCoy. It was us against the Bills, even though they traded me. I wanted to beat them. Our defense did a great job. Shady is a great running back. We did a great job containing him."

Fletcher Cox, who had an exceptional game with seven tackles, had some good give-and-take with McCoy during the game. He had seven tackles, including nailing McCoy for a 10-yard loss in the fourth quarter.

"I think what happened in the game is behind us, Shady is a good player, a great player, and let's ready for next week," Cox said. "I think Shady was Shay. He still made people miss."
