Chris Stigall talked with Comedian Tammy Pescatelli on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT about women in comedy, the changing landscape of late night television and performing on college campuses.

Pescatelli said she does not approach her routine with a political agenda.

“I am not for the politically correct. I don’t care what your politics are. I’m not taking one of those sides. I’m for just being a regular American person. I have pride in this country. People even take that wrong. There was a guy on Facebook who wrote, will you go fight for the US? First of all, I’ve done 27 tours for the USO. Yeah. Maybe. If they want 46-year-old pissed of wives and mothers to come over and fight. Maybe I might be the one to take ISIS down.”

Pescatelli will be performing at Helium Comedy Club this weekend.
