PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Quenton DeCosey scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds to help lead Temple to a 77-73 victory over cross-town rival Penn on Wednesday night.

Temple never trailed in the second half, building a lead as high as 12. Penn’s Matt Howard made a layup to cut the Quakers deficit to 61-56 with 6:19 left. Penn (4-5) fought back to 75-73 after an Antonio Woods layup with three seconds left, but two Josh Brown free throws iced it for Temple.
