PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — After touching the ball just eight times in the Philadelphia Eagles’ win last Sunday, DeMarco Murray is unhappy.
According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, Murray has addressed his frustrations with owner Jeffrey Lurie.
Murray, 27, was signed by Chip Kelly and the Eagles this offseason to a five-year deal worth $40 million. In 2014, Murray led the NFL with 1,845 rushing yards with the Dallas Cowboys.
This season, Murray has just 569 rushing yards on 163 carries in Kelly’s offense. Murray is averaging 3.5 yards per attempt, the lowest of his five-year career.
