Police Release Video Of Officer Shot At During Vehicle Stop

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) – The Northern York County Regional Police Department says they are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect who shot at a police officer.

Authorities released dash cam video of what they say is the suspect shooting at Officer Lynn Anderson.

Attempted Homicide of Police Officer

The Northern York County Regional Police Department is releasing the dash cam video that captured the attempted homicide of Officer Lynn Anderson by Trev Bowies Jackson on Sunday November 22, 2015. The release of this video is to aid in locating Trev Bowies Jackson. Jackson is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous. Jackson has a wounded left hand and the hand may still be bandaged. The manhunt for Jackson continues and anyone found to be assisting Jackson will be charged to the fullest extent of the law. Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers has posted up to $5000.00 in reward money for information leading to the capture of Jackson. If you know where Trev Bowies Jackson can be located, or if you have seen him since November 22, 2015 please call PA Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4-PA-TIPS. Police say they are searching for Trev Bowies Jackson and have an active warrant for his arrest.

Jackson is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous, police say.  He may also have a bandage on his left hand.

Authorities say the officer is doing well and has returned to duty.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers has posted up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Jackson.

Police ask if you know where Jackson is located, or if you have seen him since November 22, please call PA Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4-PA-TIPS. You may also report any sightings or information to 911 or 717.292.3647.
