Adam Schefter: 'Signs Seem To Be Piling Up Against' Chip Kelly Returning To Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- NFL Insider Adam Schefter was a guest on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday and commented on Chip Kelly's future in Philadelphia. Schefter made it clear that while he is not fully aware of what will happen, he feels like the situation may not be a very good one between Kelly and the organization.

"The momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip [Kelly] return to Philadelphia. I think both sides are sick of each other," Schefter said on Tuesday.

"I think the fans are tired of [Kelly] and he's tired of the situation there...just my read from afar."

The Eagles are a disappointing 4-6 on the season and a number of high profile college jobs are open and opening soon. Kelly's name pops up in connection to all of them.

"I just think that Chip Kelly, if given a choice might be comfortable elsewhere."

SiriusXM NFL Radio tweeted out the below quote from the interview with Schefter before deleting it and sharing a link to the audio.
