Final Preps For Philadelphia Marathon Include Spray Painting Shirts

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Members of the "November Project" -- a fitness movement in 26 cities in North America, including Philadelphia -- were doing stretching exercises and running hill repeats on Lemon Hill early Friday morning.

There was also some tagging going on. Stencils were used to spray paint the group's name and a Liberty Bell on shirts that will be worn by the runners of the group participating in the Philadelphia Marathon.

"Every city has its own tag, so in Philly here we have the Liberty Bell," says Susanne Allaire, one of the leaders of the group. "New York City has a Big Apple, there are people from DC here that have the Lincoln Memorial."

She says it helps differentiate all the tribes:

"It is nice so when we are racing you'll be able to see the 'November Project' across the chest and know that someone from one of our tribes is coming."

The Philadelphia Marathon is Sunday and starts at 7 a.m.
