Watch: Go Inside Nerlens Noel's Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Thanks to BarstoolSports.com's "The Life" segment, we were able to get a look into the life of Philadelphia 76ers forward Nerlens Noel.
Noel talked about girls, movies, cheesesteaks, Joel Embiid and his Shirley Temple's, shoes, and more in the video.
Here are some of the things we learned about Noel.
- Nerlens has a rock climbing wall and a basketball court in his house, says he gets shots up "before and after practice usually"
- His favorite basketball move is He Got Game and he's more of a Monica guy than a LaLa guy
- He's 7'2" including his hair and he's had the flat-top since he was 15-years-old
- He can dance a little bit
- He had his 21st birthday party at 1925 Lounge in Philly
- He says the 76ers have no diet, they "eat whatever we want, especially me...but Joel Embiid is on a different situation"
- Nerlens says Embiid drinks just as much Shirley Temples as he does
- The fridge:
- Nerlens says Ishkabibble's on South Street is the best cheesesteak in Philly, while Geno's is a close second...but then he said he puts...
- ....Long hots, mayo (noooo!), onions, regular cheese (American or provolone) on his cheesesteak
- He loves doughnuts and frequently stops at Dunkin' Donuts
- Lives with his buddy Sam Malone
- If he had to do the 6, 12, 18, 24 challenge he would do 18 doughnuts and 24 miles (look it up if you don't know what it is)
- His theater:
- Nerlens loves to watch football, and of course, "his Patriots"
- He played quarterback, wide receiver in high-school and stopped playing after his sophomore year
- His closet:
- His t-shirt size: XL
- He grades his Draft Day outfit an A-
- He thought it was "likely" he would go first overall and was "very depressed that night"
- His goal this season is to become an All-Star
- He owns Uggs:
- His $1,200 Giuseppe's
- Nerlens knows what "Pipe it up" means (again, look it up)
- Nerlens hangs out with his own teammates in the offseason, says he was with Embiid a lot
