Veteran Career Fair To Be Held At Lincoln Financial Field
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – This week, RecruitMilitary will be hosting a veteran career fair at Lincoln Financial Field.
In the past, RecruitMilitary has held 24 events in Philadelphia, drawing more than 7,700 attendees and 992 exhibitors.
For the upcoming fair, RecruitMilitary says it has 55 exhibitors registered.
"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a solid track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson, a former Captain in the Marine Corps.
"Just last year, 55 percent of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair, and employers were expected to extend as many as 29,000 interviews and more than 9,000 job offers."
The veteran career fair will be held on Thursday, November 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
