Research Finds Soda Might Contribute To Heart Failure

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sorry soda lovers, new research has found yet another reason to cut down on the drink.

Researchers say drinking soda may contribute to heart failure.

A study in the British Medical Journal finds men who drank just two sweetened drinks per day had a 23 percent higher risk of going into heart failure.

Health experts recommend switching to water, seltzer or unsweetened tea.
