Reinforcements Could Be Coming For Eagles vs. Cowboys

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles are going head to head with the Cowboys this week and there could be some wounded Birds that are ready to fly again. Eagles rookie wide receiver Nelson Agholor and linebacker Kiko Alonso were full practice participants on Wednesday.

Agholor has not played since he injured his ankle in Week 5 against the Saints. He has just eight receptions on the year for 105 yards.

With the high number of drops and the lack of production down the field, the Eagles wide receiver group will be glad to have Agholor back as an option if he can return on Sunday night.

Alonso was last on the field in Week 2 when the Eagles lost to the Cowboys in the home opener.

The linebacker play has not lacked terribly in Alonso's absence, but his acumen for highlight plays is something that will only strengthen the defense upon his return.

Ryan Mathews was limited on Wednesday as he deals with a groin injury, while DeMeco Ryans (hamstring) and Jason Peters (back) sat out of practice.
