Man Stabbed In Head On SEPTA Bus In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a man who stabbed another passenger on a SEPTA bus overnight in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at 46th and Market Streets on a Market-Frankford Line night owl bus.

Authorities say a man was stabbed in the side of his forehead and his attacker jumped off the bus and ran away.

The victim suffered a small cut on the side of his forehead and refused treatment from medics.

It wasn't immediately clear what type of weapon was used in the stabbing or what led to the attack.
