Top 5 Places To Watch Notre Dame Vs. Temple

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's going to be a special weekend in Philadelphia for college football fans, and especially the Temple University students, fans, and alumni.

Understandably, Philly has never been a big college football town. But on Halloween, ESPN's College GameDay will be in town for No. 9 Notre Dame (6-1) at No. 21 Temple (7-0) at 9:00 a.m. broadcasting live from Independence Hall. The game will kickoff at 8:00 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.

The weather? Mostly sunny with a high of 59, low of 47. Can't ask for much more on October 31st.

Ideally, you want me to be at the Linc for the game, but not everyone is able to get tickets. Don't worry, there are plenty of amazing spots to watch the colossal game.

5. Xfinity Live!

It's the closet and rowdiest atmosphere to the Linc, your best bet if you're planning on tailgating without a ticket.

4. McGillin's Olde Ale House1310 Drury St

McGillin's, Philadelphia's oldest tavern, is a sneaky great spot to catch Temple football games. Plus, if Temple wins, you're already in the perfect spot ready to party.

3. Maxi's - 1926 Liacouras Walk

Smack dab in the middle of Temple's campus. If you want pizza during the game, Maxi's is your spot.

2. Pub Webb1527 Cecil B. Moore Ave

Pub Webb, owned by a Temple grad, will have a dynamic gameday atmosphere. Plus, they do $2 Coors Lights for all Temple games.

1. Draught Horse1431 Cecil B. Moore Ave

This is the biggest bar on Temple's campus with the most TV's, right next door to The Liacouras Center. Plus, on Saturday's they do $3 16oz. Miller Lite Drafts
$4 Smirnoff mixed drinks.

Thanks to Temple graduate Andrew McDevitt for the tips.
