Police Investigating After Body Found On Beach In Strathmere

STRATHMERE, NJ (CBS) -- Police are investigating after a body was discovered on the beach in Strathmere, New Jersey.

Authorities say the body was found near Randolph and Summer Avenues.

The New Jersey State Police Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to the scene around 12:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say it is an active investigation.
