PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — If you liked yesterday’s temperatures, you are going to love Thursday’s as well!
If for some reason you don’t, hang on one more day; cooler temperatures are on the way.
Thursday will be another dry, warm day with varying amounts of sunshine. Daytime highs will run around 10 degrees above average, making it feel more like late September than late August.
An approaching cold front will bring more clouds later in the day. There is very limited moisture with this front, so it will likely stay dry other than perhaps a sprinkle in the evening. Skies will then clear overnight, but you’ll be waking up to a noticeably cooler feel on Friday morning.
Even despite abundant sunshine throughout the day, temperatures will fail to reach the daily normal. There will also be a breezy northerly wind, which will reinforce that cooler air.
So enjoy the warmth while it lasts! If that’s your thing, of course.
