Weather: Cooler Weather Ahead

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It will be a nice start to Tuesday, but there are some clouds and showers off to the west. A weak but fast-moving cold front will pass through Philadelphia later today.

While there is a small line of showers associated with the front, the have been struggling to survive as they move east. So sun will eventually give way to some more clouds, with only a chance for a scattered shower this afternoon. Certainly not a washout for all the after school soccer moms and dads!

You can expect one more mild day in the 70s, but today could be the last time we see a 70-something for a while. The passage of the front will knock temperatures back down to the 60s for the remainder of the work week, before another front on Friday will make for some borderline chilly temperatures this weekend.
