3 Officers Hurt In Nasty Crash In Central Pa.

YORK, Pa. (CBS) - Three officers were taken to the hospital following a car crash while chasing a suspect in York, Pennsylvania late Wednesday night.

This happened around 11:30 p.m. on the 100 block of South Sherman Street.

Authorities say the crash involved multiple police cruisers. One of the police cars flipped over and another was heavily damaged, according to authorities.

All three officers were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

It is not known at this time what started the chase. Police have taken one person into custody.

State Police are investigating.
